Department of Health Services, Division of Behavioral Health Services - Reporting Requirements

Report

This report focused on Arizona’s behavioral health system reporting requirements, pursuant to Laws 2001, Chapter 195, §1.  Sixty-three reports are prepared to meet federal and state laws and regulations, and contractual and judicial requirements. This report recommends eliminating 6 of the 63 reports, as well as combining 2 costly case file reviews.  This report also considers criteria that measure the Division’s performance in four areas; specifically, clinical quality, availability of services, quality of services as rated by patients and their families, and quality of RBHA services as rated by providers. Finally, this report includes an appendix that describes the 63 reports and the primary sources of the requirements.
