Arizona Veterans' Service Advisory Commission

The Office of the Auditor General has performed audit work to address the 12 statutory Sunset Factors for the Veterans’ Service Advisory Commission. The Commission, composed of nine veterans appointed by the Governor, acts as an advisor to the Governor and the Director of the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services on veterans’ issues. The report found the Commission meets its statutory purpose by providing policy advice to the Governor and the Director, and generally operates in the public interest by promoting veterans’ programs and supporting veterans’ legislation.
